As their mom, I’ve experienced firsthand the beauty, strength, and challenges that come with neurodiversity. I've also witnessed the gaps in resources, support, and spaces where our families can truly feel seen, heard, and safe.
Inklusion Community Inc. was born out of that lived experience and a deep desire to create something better. This isn't just a project... it's personal! It's about creating a place where families like mine aren’t just accommodated, we’re celebrated in the heart of Metropolis IL.

By profession, I am an early childhood educator with a heart for children with special needs. Raised in southern Illinois and now rooted in western Kentucky with my husband, I carry with me a deep faith that guides my steps—whether I'm rock hounding with my son, building an inclusive classroom, or simply showing up with love and patience. I believe every child is wonderfully made, and it's my passion and purpose to help each one feel seen, valued, and celebrated just as they are.

As a native of Metropolis, Illinois, my passion for supporting the autism and neurodiverse community began when my son was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Experiencing firsthand the challenges families face due to the limited resources in our region has fueled my dedication to making a difference. I’m proud to be part of an organization that is working to build a more inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment for neurodiverse individuals and their families in southern Illinois.
