Join us for a Sensory Santa Experience — a calm, inclusive holiday event created especially for children and families who may find traditional Santa visits overwhelming.

Join us for a Sensory Santa Experience — a calm, inclusive holiday event created especially for children and families who may find traditional Santa visits overwhelming.
Unlike the typical hustle and bustle of crowded holiday photo lines, our Sensory Santa sessions are designed to be gentle, understanding, and sensory-friendly. The environment will feature:
- Reduced noise and low lighting to support sensory comfort
- No waiting lines — each family will have a 15-minute private appointment
- Trained volunteers and staff who understand sensory needs and communication differences
- Flexible interactions — families can take their time, and children can choose how to meet Santa (sit beside, stand nearby, or simply observe)
- Familiar sensory supports, such as fidget tools or noise-canceling headphones available on site
Each family will also receive a free digital image, sent directly to your email, capturing your child’s special moment with Santa — at no cost.
This event is more than a photo opportunity; it’s a celebration of inclusion and comfort for every child to enjoy the magic of the season in their own way.

If you’re a parent or caregiver of a child with special needs, you deserve a place to connect, breathe, and speak freely with people who truly understand.
This group is designed to offer a judgment-free, safe space where we can share experiences, ask questions, support one another, and build a strong community filled with compassion and understanding.
Who’s Welcome?
Everyone. Whether your child has a formal diagnosis or you’re still navigating the evaluation process, you are welcome here.
It doesn’t matter what stage of the journey you’re in.
And you do not have to be in Illinois — we welcome parents from Western Kentucky, Southeast Missouri, and anywhere else. This is a community for all of us.
What to Expect:
• A warm, inclusive environment
• Respect, confidentiality, and no judgment
• Honest conversations with people who “get it”
• Guidance, shared experiences, and emotional support
• A chance to build real connections within our community
